Maths Census Day

We have been learning about the National Census to be held on Sunday 21st March 2021. The children have been doing their own census in school all day today with different 'Let's Count' activities, and applying their Maths skills. Each class had a theme to count and analyse their data into pictograms, bar graphs and pie charts: favourite fruit;  favourite things; the local area; the school population - gender, deaf/hearing, ethnicity, religion.
