Home School Agreement

We welcome parents and carers as our children’s most important providers of care and education and as active members of our learning community. We aim to involve parents and carers in all aspects of their child’s education and maintain strong links via a home-school agreement, regular newsletters, the school website and, most importantly, via an open door policy for parents and carers to come and talk to us.

 

To enable children to reach their full potential, the child, parent(s) and the school must form a real partnership. The Home-School Agreement formally recognises this. It is based on mutual trust and openness and clarifies the roles of parent, child and school. It is a voluntary agreement but we encourage parents to sign it. 

 

Parents are encouraged to support school activities, including parents’ evenings, the Christmas show, sports day, international evening, BSL celebrations and other social events.
