Lunches

Magic Breakfast is a charity providing free, nutritious breakfasts to more than 22,000 children each school day and its own experience and research has found a strong link between eating a healthy breakfast and educational attainment. Breakfast is provided daily from 8.40am to 8.55am.

Our chef, who has a passion for supporting children’s healthy eating habits, prepares our lunches. The fresh, healthy meals have been specifically designed to support children’s development and are served in our main hall. Having our own chef allows us the flexibility to adapt the menu if needed and to cater for children who may have food allergies or food intolerances.

The government provides Universal infant free school meals (UIFSM) funding for all government funded schools to offer free school meals to pupils in reception, year 1, and year 2. Lunches are payable for pupils in nursery, year 3, year 4, year 5 and year year 6.

School lunches are charged at £2.41 per day. Lunches must be paid for in advance half-termly via bank transfer into our school account. Some families are entitled to free school meals. Free school meal applications can be made online here.

Children may bring packed lunches if preferred. Please support our healthy eating policy by not including sweets, chocolate or fizzy drinks in packed lunches.

We have been recognised as a Camden healthy school and our food policy meets the Camden Healthy School Standards. Our school policy covers all food provided and consumed in school including before, during school and on school trips and in extra-curricular activities. The Schools Food Policy can be reviewed here.
