E-Safety
It is commonly acknowledged that the educational and social benefits for children in using the internet should be promoted, but that this should be balanced against the need to safeguard children against the inherent risks from internet technology.
Schools need to be able to teach children to keep themselves safe whilst on-line. Our policy provides schools with guidance on developing an effective online safety strategy to enable these aims to be achieved and support staff to recognise the risks and take action to help children use the internet safely and responsibly.
